1/2 Day School holiday Workshop - Printmaking
Product Details

Friday 11th April; 9am - 12pm (ages 6+)

Details -

This ½ day school holiday workshop in printmaking explores methods such as mono printing, block printing and gelli printing.

Students will learn about basic printmaking processes, how everyday simple objects can be used to create a printed image and how to transfer magazine images using a gelli plate. After a teacher led demonstration, students will explore and experiment with a variety of materials and techniques, as well as building knowledge on composition, colour, pattern, shape and layering.

Using their acquired knowledge, students will work on several artworks, on a variety of surfaces exploring layering and using printmaking methods. The completed artworks can be taken home at the end of the workshop, ready to frame, to be used as wrapping paper, or to cover a book or art journal!

Although light refreshments are provided, please ensure students bring a water bottle and have eaten before the workshop, to assist in maximising creativity!

A maximum of 8 participants ensures individual support and fosters a sense of community within the group; a minimum of 3 participants is required.
