A relaxed, hands-on workshop exploring the tactile nature of clay.

You’ll be introduced to the fundamentals of hand-building and use these techniques to create your own functional or sculptural piece. Think less perfection, more making—working with your hands, testing ideas, and seeing what emerges.

Suitable for all levels, from complete beginners through to those wanting to reconnect with clay.

In this 2.5-hour workshop, you’ll:

• Learn core hand-building techniques (pinch, slab and form)
• Use tools to shape, refine and decorate your work
• Create a functional or sculptural ceramic piece
• Gain confidence working with clay in a relaxed, supportive setting

• Duration: 2.5 hours
• Location: Mark Makers Art Studio, Tewantin
• Group size: Max 8 (minimum 3)
• Suitable for ages 16+

• Your work will be fired off-site and ready for collection approx. 3 weeks after the workshop
